BIG jumps
Author: cortny… I’ve had this song called “big jumps” stuck in my head since I heard it again in the car this morning.
Maybe that’s what inspired me to agree to go to yoga bootcamp with Mike. He’s been talking about going to one of the Baptiste training sessions (they are a week-usually in some exotic locale.) This is the next step in the teacher training process at our studio. After he does this he can assist in classes at our studio.
We’ve been talking about it. Thought it sounded okay. Then I found some other people’s blogs about it and it sounds like it will be really really hard. BUT I can’t even imagine Mike going with out me. And the truth is I really really really want to be able to prove to myself that I could do something like that. Since I always think of myself as such a wuss.
SO, we’re going to Mexico for a week!!! It will be the beginning of December. IF we get accepted. You have to apply and get accepted. This teacher is our teacher’s teacher, and he’s ‘kind of a big deal’ (as Ron Burgundy would say…)
Pray for me, that I don’t chicken out, regret it, faint… that I don’t get accepted (or that I DO get accepted which is even scarier.)
See, this is what anxiety is like. We fear the things that can help us the most!
Check out the resort… That helped make the decision a little easier… Too bad we’ll be too busy to spend much time on that sandy beach!
