I have been wanting to do this forever: take my real simple mags — which I save — tear out all the ads and have them bound in sections by year.

I’ve finally started! I have two years done. Kinkos charges $6 per binding. But now they are more like books and I can actually use them. I really think, one of my better ideas.

Oh, how they go together.

I’m constantly on a mission to clean. And (you can ask my husband), cleaning for me always turns into “I need to reorganize this closet.”

Whilst ‘cleaning’ by organizing my old magazines, I saw a quote in one of my old real simples that said “Happiness is somewhere in between having too little and having too much.”

So true! We have been trying to weed down our stuff since we moved to a smaller house. And I’m still learning how to keep from adding to the ‘junk,’ and yet get organized. Still trying to simplify and learn how to keep up systems.

Kudos to Mike who got on top of all the paperwork we have had piling up. He did a great job. I’m also working on our office stuff. (Our office and office closet are sooo crowded.) I have a ton of leftover envelopes for sale on my Etsy site now… hoping some bargain hunters what to help me clean out my craft drawers.

I’ll keep you updated on how this cleaning is going. Or, you know, I could dust and that would probably help. Dusting is soo unglamorous.
