It is fun to put Matilda on top of things and see what she does.

Last week it was a Crate and Barrel Box.

She was pissed.

Today I put her on the lawn chair.

Nope, she didn’t like that so much either. Oh well.

We don’t have anything else to put her on right now. If we think of something, you’ll see a photo of it.

Recently I was sucked into the Steig Larsson trilogy [The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc,] so I understand now why Mike has been staying up until about 1am finishing up the first book. Apparently, the dogs are staying up a little late as well. They have been in bed until about 11am the last two days.

It’s making it quite difficult to get up and moving in the morning, because I rarely get to snuggle with both my girls. It’s rarely even quiet in the morning.

Mike has finished his book and will likely go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. We’ll see if this prevents the two Misses Lazybones from sleeping until noon.

Seafood Fest, 2010

Author: cortny

Our neighborhood hosts Seafood Fest every year. It’s a really a Scandinavian festival, too, since Ballard is a Scandinavian neighborhood. (That’s why the Swedish meatballs – yum!) It’s the best festival to buy your helmet with horns, if you were looking for one of those.
