Meanwhile, here’s our ritual at the food bowl. I usually just leave her there, but sometimes I coach her. The long video is from a couple months ago. The short ones are from yesterday.

Ruby, on the other hand, begs me for meals two hours in advance, and devours hers (and sometimes Tilly’s) quickly.

Last week it was a Crate and Barrel Box.

She was pissed.

Today I put her on the lawn chair.

Nope, she didn’t like that so much either. Oh well.

We don’t have anything else to put her on right now. If we think of something, you’ll see a photo of it.

We had a great time, like no years had gone by (with the exception of college degrees, husbands, kids, dogs, etc…)

We spent a morning at the Science and Industry museum, another day running around downtown Naperville (including a paddleboat ride and some Red Mango), and had some fun at the Arboretum kids’ area. We also fit in a yoga class at a Baptiste studio run by a fellow level 1-er of mine (I think we converted another yogi…) and saw the Sex and the City Movie. A really fun visit!

Miss Ruby is NINE today. How quickly our children grow up… I realized I didn’t have any of her baby pics digitally. (Remember film?!) So I scanned some in honor of her birthday.

I took some video… but it looks just like the video from Tilly’s Brithday. :)
