Weekend in pictures

We had a great weekend! Lots of time away from the house, out in the nice weather. Our heat has left (just for now) but the sun has [mostly] been out.

Saturday was the Amazon.com company picnic. While it’s really designed for people with kids… it’s still a really nice event for anyone. Tons of free food (in those green booths), a free picnic T-shirt, entertainment and games. There was a Cher impersonator, and another band when we were leaving. Some motorcycle ramp jumpers, exciting stuff! You probably can’t tell in the picture, but the sky is full of the free kites they give out to the kids.

Afterward, we headed to the outlets just like last year. Because they are there, pretty much. This year we really went to pick up some birthday presents for our Mothers. Their birthdays are three days apart, so we tend to make shopping for Moms an event. :)

Sunday we had Mariners tickets. The Yankees have been in town, and some friends of ours invited us to come along. We had great seats, and even I thought the game was awesome! The Mariners beat the Yankees 10-3. The Yankees, ARod and Jeter and, you know, baseball players I’ve actually heard of. Now, I enjoy going to a game or two to enjoy nice weather, good hotdogs (and they were good there) and people watching. But this was an exciting game. I actually got into it, which is saying a lot. I also found a cute Ms tshirt. :)

We luv Dug

Author: cortny

We saw Up this weekend. It is SO SO good.

There is a character named Dug – a dog. He is SUCH

a dog. We are still laughing and talking about Dug.

Up is an excellent movie in general. We decided to go see it in 3-D (I hate 3-D, by the way) BUT wanted to see a good movie in 3-D to see how it was. It didn’t bother my eyes at all, the effects were really subtle and good.

Here’s Dug. He is a dog and you will love him because he is lovable and cute and smart.

(The pic is a link to a video of Dug.)
